QUICK ANSWER: JP is a full service restaurant and bar inspired by Mexican/Asian/San Diego Cultures. We specialize in bold flavors and craft cocktails.

DEEP ANSWER: JP is a place founded on the idea of creative curiosity, courage, freedom and expression. We are aimed at being our authentic selves and sharing that with others. The entire team participates in the creative development of the restaurant including food, cocktails, service, design & music. We develop these ideas and share the best with our community.

FIRST, we aim to wow you with our food and drink program. We approach our craft with the lens of an artist. Everything has to have that “umami.” Everything has to draw emotion.

SECONDLY, the energy is aimed to be fun and relaxed. Our place is small so every night feels intimate. Some nights have higher energy (Open Vinyl or Latin Jazz nights). But regardless of whats going on, JP is a place to connect; both with our culture/community and the people you come here with. We are serious about our craft but we aren’t stiffs. We like to laugh. We like to dance. We like to have fun.
